Slightly wrong t-shirts

If you are a nerd, then prepare to be either be pedantically enraged or delighted by sheer genius. Personally, I’m delighted. As John McClane in Die Hard would say – Zipadeedoodah motherfucker! Someone has created a series of movie/TV/comics t-shirts and has purposefully gotten it slightly wrong.

Examples:

The name James, James Bond.

Jaws – We’re going to need a big boat.

X Files – the truth is over there.

Here is a picture of some others:

The website that sells them is called MySoti and they seem to sell quite a lot of cool stuff. (I swear I am not being paid by them, although if they read this, I am very happy to sell out.)

Of course, a lot of these are similar to cheap knockoffs such as you can find all over in countries that don’t care about copyright. I grew up in Hong Kong and the Chinese word for mouse is the same as rat – so there were plenty of Mickey Rat t-shirts around.

I know the Avengers line up is in constant flux but in my humble opinion, this line up is unlikely even though it would be kind of cool. At least Spiderman is correct.

Happily, I live in Asia so see this kind of thing all the time. Otherwise, I would be adding to basket right now. Anyway, I am off to the market in search of this brilliant mixup below. May the force live long and proper.
