Movie trilogy meter
I saw this trilogy meter and thought it was fun for about a minute. I agree with most of them if you just compare films within each trilogy, with two exceptions:
- I think Back to the future 3 is better than 2. I may have to watch them again though as it has been a decade. They are all fun however and it is now weird to be living beyond the future depicted in the second one.
- Die Hard with a vengeance – aka Die Hard 3 – is better than Die Hard 2. Also, Die Hard 1 is a lot better than Die Hard 2 and 3. The meter makes it look like the original is just a bit better than the second and that is wrong in any way that you can measure anything.
There are quite a few things wrong when comparing the films outside their trilogies. Mostly, this is to do with Jurassic Park. The first film is better than Mad Max 3, Back to the future 2, Die Hard 2 & 3, and Rocky 3. Mind you, I love dinosaurs and I loved the book. Also: Rocky 3 is better than Terminator? I bloody think not.
I will stop analysing it now or it will swiftly become a pointless thing to post. The trilogy meter supposed to be a bit of fun after all. See what you think:
